These terms govern your use of MinTraq, a career-readiness service based in Mumbai, India (“MinTraq”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them.
1. The service
MinTraq helps you prepare for a specific employer, role and level. It researches the employer, analyses the role, measures your readiness with assessments and a scorecard, writes learning for your gaps, prepares an Interview Prep Kit and lets you rehearse with Mira, our practice interviewer. Features differ by plan, as described on the Pricing page.
MinTraq is preparation, not a placement service. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, promotions or any employment outcome, and we are not affiliated with the employers we research unless we say so.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use MinTraq. You agree to give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure and use one account for yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed it.
3. Plans and payments
- Free: available without payment details, with the limits shown on the Pricing page.
- Career Sprint: a one-time purchase for one interview journey, with 45 days of active access that starts when you create the journey, or automatically 15 days after payment. Afterwards, your results stay available to read.
- Career Pro and Career Max: subscriptions billed every 3 months or every year, renewing automatically until you cancel.
- Traqs: one-time add-ons that extend a paid plan. They stay on your account and can be used whenever your paid access is active.
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which is authorised to collect payments on our behalf and applies any taxes due in your country. Prices are shown before taxes, and the final amount is confirmed at checkout. We may change prices for future billing periods and will tell you before a change applies to you.
If a renewal payment fails, paid access stops on the billing date. If you pay later, a new billing period starts on the date of payment. An upgrade between paid plans applies straight away; a downgrade applies from the next billing date. After a paid plan ends, you keep the scorecards of assessments you completed; new paid activity needs an active plan.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the Billing page. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you will not be charged again. Refunds follow our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
5. Practice interviews and recordings
Practice interviews with Mira use your microphone. Recording is optional and needs your consent for each session. How recordings are stored and deleted is set out in our Privacy Policy.
6. AI-generated content
Parts of MinTraq, including assessment situations, explanations, courses, Prep Kits and interview feedback, are written with AI and may contain mistakes. Your score is calculated by fixed rules, not by a model. Company information is researched carefully but may be incomplete or out of date. Use MinTraq as preparation and check anything important before relying on it, especially salary information and company facts.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share your account, or resell or redistribute MinTraq content;
- copy, scrape or extract our assessments, company research or other content in bulk;
- try to reverse-engineer the service, get around usage limits or interfere with its security;
- upload content that is unlawful, infringes someone’s rights or contains malware;
- use MinTraq to harass, impersonate or mislead anyone, including employers.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
8. Your content
You own what you upload and write, including your CV and answers. You give us permission to use it only to run MinTraq for you, as set out in the Privacy Policy. We do not use it to train AI models.
9. Our content
MinTraq, its assessments, research, courses and design are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the content created for you for your own preparation. You may not publish or sell it.
10. Closing your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may close accounts that break these terms or the law. If we close a paid account without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of the current period.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep MinTraq available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We may improve, change or retire features. If a change materially reduces what you paid for, you may cancel and receive a refund for the unused part of the current period.
12. Disclaimer
MinTraq is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms. This does not affect warranties or guarantees that the law where you live does not allow us to exclude.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost earnings, opportunities or job offers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring proceedings there where the law allows.
15. Changes to these terms
We will update this page and change the date at the top when these terms change. For material changes, we will email you before they take effect. If you keep using MinTraq afterwards, the new terms apply.
